A Premiership Signing For Copper Dragon!
A Skipton man has found his dream job after being recruited as Visitor Centre Manager by the town’s Copper Dragon brewery
Craig Borrill, 31, has been appointed by the nine-year-old Snaygill Industrial estate-based brewers and he’s delighted to be ‘returning home’ after working at many of the UK’s major sporting venues including Old Trafford and the Ascot racecourse.
Craig was, until recently, the Deputy Front of House Manager at the acclaimed Angel Inn at Hetton and he’s looking forward to the challenge that awaits him: “I’ve come into the Copper Dragon family at a great time. All aspects of the brewery are going from strength to strength.
“My responsibilities will be overseeing and building on the quality of service that we offer for business conferences, brewery tour visitors and the ever popular Bistro,” added Craig, a keen golfer.
Copper Dragon MD Steve Taylor commented: “Craig brings with him a lot of experience that will prove invaluable as we seek to build on the progress we’ve made over the past two years.”
Prior to working at the Angel Inn Craig was involved in event management with a host of Premiership football clubs as well as having responsibility for running many of the bars at Royal Ascot.
Established in 2002, Skipton-based Copper Dragon supplies Best Bitter, Golden Pippin, Scots 1816, Challenger IPA and Black Gold cask ales as well as regular seasonal ales to over 2000 pubs across the UK as well as major supermarkets and foreign markets as far afield as Australia and Russia.
