New Recruit Brews Up Success At Copper Dragon!
Skipton-based Copper Dragon Brewery has recently appointed a talented new Associate Brewer in Robert Percival.
The 25-year-old who hails from Cheshire but now lives in Leeds joins the nine-year old regional brewery from John Smiths where he worked in quality assurance. Prior to that he worked for Scottish & Newcastle after graduating from Leeds University in 2008.
“This is an incredible opportunity to join a brewery with a fine reputation,” said Robert “and Copper Dragon is well known as one of the best technical breweries in the north.
“The chance to work with the Copper Dragon team is something I couldn’t turn down,” added Robert who is also currently studying for a Brewers Diploma with the Institute of Brewing.

Established in 2002, Skipton-based Copper Dragon supplies Best Bitter, Golden Pippin, Scots 1816, Challenger IPA and Black Gold cask ales as well as regular seasonal ales to over 2000 pubs across the UK as well as major supermarkets and foreign markets as far afield as Australia and Russia.
